    - Pre-production for the album is almost done now. 2 more songs to lay down, and then we will sit back and listen to everything and see if we come up with any ideas to improve parts.
    - On Wednesday 18 April we shot a 2nd music video with Rishane, a 3rd year video technology student. This was for the song 'Dancing in Adam's footsteps..' Editing for this will take a month or so. It is just us playing on the floor in a warehouse with a bunch of YOU going mental!!! Thanks so much to everyone who pitched up for the shoot, we really were BLOWN AWAY by the turnout. What a great unified hardcore family we have in Durban. Really really special. For those of you that weren't there.. ohhhh you are going to cry when you see the finished result, eina!
Below is some footage from behind the scenes shot from a digital camera by Juan de Lange (His Dying Wish)

    - On Saturday 14 April we shot scenes for the Snakes in our Laps music video. Starting at 5am and venturing to 8 different locations around Durban. We finished up around 8pm. Very tired and very rocked out! Editing is going to take a few weeks at the least as there is a lot of footage and scenes to sift through.
    - We are shooting a SECOND music video this Wednesday.. Go here for details, we need you!

On Monday night Brandon layed down the guitar parts for Snakes in Our Laps. We're now 7 songs done.

JP was hanging out and got bored so this is what he did:

    Thank you and good night!

Here are some more pre-production pics from the weekend. This time it's Richard on the drums. So far he has put down 5 songs. So we're kind of half way with this.

In the background you can see how little recording planning chart. It helps! The 18 has a lot of significance.

Ok it's Brandon's turn to track guitars for songs 3,4 and 5...

Without this, life would be very very hard:

This month we started recording our new album. We are currently doing 'pre-production' in our band room. Tracking all the songs to metronome, working out new bits, changing structures around, etc..

Once that's done we will l probably be tracking the REAL thing in different locations just to make the most of the best room environments that are out there for each instrument.(we have been checking out various studio locations some of which are truly inspiring!)

So far we have 10 brand new songs going down, possibly 11.
These are all previously unrecorded NEW songs, but some of you may have heard 3 of the new ones at the last few gigs.
WE ARE INCREDIBLY EXCITED, it's going to be a lot of hard work and you probably wont be seeing much of us out and about for awhile when we do this.

    ------------------------------------------------------
We are also excited to be producing a music video for SNAKES IN OUR LAPS. This is going to be a huge step for us. If you wanna be part of the cast for the video, drop a comment on our myspace page:

-Ok honestly, we dont know what we can say regarding Saturdays show. It was amazing and perfect in every single way for us. We cant imagine a scene being any better, tight and more sweaty!! Thank you so so much every single on of you for coming out and throwing down hard with us.
    - A batch of pics have been added to the photos area. There are from Witchfest, Uprisings, The Gauteng tour in August, and some more random outtake pics from the USA tour in July.
    - We are working on new songs and going to start recording the new album very soon. As soon as possible in fact, so that we can start playing our asses off again!

    28 November, 2006
    - Our new bass player is John-Paul Dudley!!! He used to play for Armchair Generals and Last Chance to Dance.
    - Check our shows page for details on the big throwdown.

    25 October, 2006
-New pictures from one show in Richmond, Virginia that was while we were in the USA in July.
-We're hard at work with a new bass player, new songs, and good times. Prepare yourselves for an onslaught of epic proportions in 2007.
-Show wise, nothing is planned yet sadly due to the hard rehearsing we're doing. But there are small possibilities of a show or two in December. Sign up to the newsletter to know when!

Woah, a track off our 2004 debut album has been nominated for an award in the Metal Song category in the Just Plain Folks Music Awards. This is a well recognised and respected American indie recognition! > Read more

We have 1 new video available!! A bit of a highlights package from our footage we filmed on tour in America back in July. The time of our lives!
And we thought we would put up a little bit of what we are working on in the rehearsal room right now. Here is the early demo of one of our new songs. It's just guitar and drums at this stage, no vocals! Very simple. As things progress we will upload new versions and you guys can hopefully see how our songs develop from their early stages like this..
( If you can play bass and like what you hear, you need to get in touch please!)

    15 September, 2006
    1. The USA tour diary is only HALF done... There are 30 days of paragraphs of stuff to write about... and seen as most of you might not read it, we're doing a good job cos it's for our memories too so we can sigh and read it when we old, haha.

    Ok now seriously.
    2. We are looking for a new bass player. Anyone happy, loves making a noise, and passionate about going hard in everything they do. Get in touch!
Sadly, Ross left us cos he isn't up for touring and the bigger picture that we have in our minds for Crossingpoint after we were so inspired by the USA tour in July. All good and understandable, Ross has been a major player, backup vocalist, and songwriter for the last 5 years and we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for his role.
So if YOU can play bass, or know someone that knows someone, come live your dreams with us, and join us for a trip you will cherish for the rest of your life! It's blowing up!!!
    3. We are planning on recording a crazy new album with all new wall demolishing songs in December. Just a few more new songs to iron out now and we are ready to lay those fire breathing tracks down!
